Virtual International Jazz Day/USA 2021

The dedicated team of volunteers of the Skipp Pearson Jazz Foundation are pleased to announce that admission access passports are now available through Eventbrite for our International Jazz Day/USA 2021 programming.

Beginning Thursday, April 29th through Friday, April 30th the Foundation will present two full days of music education programs celebrating the life and work of the immortal George Gershwin.

The culminating performance on International Jazz Day will offer a world premiere. Four female piano masters will play what has never been done before, eight hands playing Rhapsody and Blue. The Foundation and its partners in the arts are delighted to acknowledge the generous contribution of four YAMAHA Pianos provided by YAHMAHA Corporation for this event.

The four member team includes: Sara Faust, Tomoko Ohno, Hyuna Park and Dotti Anita Taylor. The resident conductor and coach is Maestro Amadis Dunkel.

The Foundation is delighted to be a part UNESCO's global celebration for the fifth year in a row helping the world celebrate the 10th Anniversary of International Jazz Day.

Don't wait...the Pearson Virtual Theater is limited so get your passport today for a series of public music education programs not to be missed.
